The 2009 Kooyong Classic is a boutique tennis event, held annually at Kooyong, Victoria.

Eight of the worlds top tennis players including Roger Federer, Marcos Baghdatis, Marin Cilic, Stanislas Wawrinka, Ivan Ljubicic, Fernando Gonzalez, Fernando Verdasco and Carlos Moya use the event as their preferred Australian Open preparation for eight of the world's top male players. Andy Roddick is the current title holder.

Situated between Toorak Rd and the Monash Freeway, Kooyang has ample car parking space available on the eastern side of Glenferrie Rd as well as easy access via tram and train services, Kooyong Station, on the Glen Waverely line, being less than 200 metres from the front gates and tram route no. 16 stopping at the stadium entrance. The ticket box is located adjacent to the stadium front gates in Glenferrie Rd. Access to the clubhouse for those with suitable passes is to the south of the ticket box.
