About St Kilda

Acland Street: Famous for its cake shops Acland Street haslong been afavourite of Melbournians and tourists alike. While a few local shops still remain it is largely comprised of upmarket tourism cafes, restaurants and retail outlets.

Upper Esplanade: Just past Luna Park the Upper Esplanade offers panoramic views of the Bay with thethe St Kilda Baths and Royal Yacht Squadron in the foreground. On Sundays, a craft market is held on the Upper Esplanade and is well recommended to visit.

Lower Esplanade: The Lower Esplanade isopposite the beach and many beachside restaurants and also features the every popular Luna Park fun fair

St Kilda Botanic Gardens: The St Kilda Botanical Gardens are locatedin Blessington Street (off Ackland Street) and offer large open spaces, a large pond and glass house. The rose gardens are spectacular and among the best in Melbourne.
